Agua Fria Camp is located in the South Country portion of Philmont.
Location and geography[]
It is known for having several streams running through it, hence the translation "Cold Water." In way of program there is a tour of the cabin, which includes memorabilia from Philmonts early days, and several bear skins. Its features are a red roof inn, several bridges crossing the several streams, and multiple trails exiting the camp. The streams may rise in level rapidly if it begins raining.
